Verdict

Lordofthehouse is a little quirky but did win at Wetherby and Kempton last season. One For Joules is a course and distance winner who had a pipe-opener on the Flat last month. James Pollard won a claimer here in August, when Jolly Roger was only fourth, but was well beaten back in handicap company at Plumpton last month while Toubab and Escort'men have become disappointing. BOMBADERO makes a swift reappearance after finishing second at Worcester on Thursday. He was only beaten a short-head and should go one better off a pound lower mark if that run hasn't taken too much out of him.
