In depth

Verdict

Mac Le Couteau only beat Prince Pippin by three-quarters-of-a-length over course and distance in August and there shouldn't be much between the pair again on today's slightly different terms. Goldie Horn is back over hurdles after unseating her rider over fences at Perth last month while Church Hall was third here in May but hasn't raced since. AUDACIOUS PLAN has been well beaten in his three races to date over timber but his third at Newbury in March came in better company and he starts off life in handicaps on a decent mark so gets the vote.
