LUBEAT FORAS (NAP) improved markedly on his hurdling debut when third to the potentially-useful Wonderwall at Doncaster and should be hard to beat in a race like this. Red Lion Lad was staying on at the end of 3m at Chepstow so is unlikely to be suited by this drop in trip but there was plenty of promise in Phantom Getaway’s narrow defeat at Ludlow and he can only improve for the experience. Points winner El Rojo Grande and newcomer Pencil are worth noting for future reference.
