Verdict

Ability to handle heavy ground will be paramount throughout the card and we'll kick off with THE TRACEY SHUFFLE. Twice a bumper winner, once on heavy, the Pipe charge was not disgraced with a mid-division finish in the 2011 Cheltenham bumper before just going down to Nagpur on his reappearance at Lingfield. That was over two and half miles on heavy so there will be no ground or stamina doubts here and he gets the vote over One Lucky Lady. The Henderson filly eased home unchallenged at Folkestone and there is clearly much more to come. She handled heavy ground at Epsom in 2009 and is an obvious contender. Tanerko Emery came to grief early on at Hereford on debut for Tim Vaughan but showed real promise on a sole outing in France. He could be useful but current stable form is a concern.
