      Verdict

      This may be another for the Balding/Bryan combination as DREAM CATCHING (NAP) chased home a subsequent winner at Newbury last month and has been left on the same mark. That was only his second run in a handicap and headgear should bring about further improvement. La Maquina has shown ability in novice races but has proved difficult to train so far. Yorbelucky won on heavy going over track and trip last year but today’s conditions could be a problem for Bezos, who has only won on the all-weather so far. Zalshah and Controversial Lady need more.
