Verdict

A poor race in which Maas is taken to gain his first win over hurdles. With plenty of speed in his pedigree, he should prove well suited to this sharp track and can see off both Indigo Beach and Amarone. The former, a winner here over Easter, will struggle to confirm the form with Amarone on these terms.
