Verdict

Himba won well at Towcester but there has to be a doubt about whether he can reproduce that and it may be worth taking a chance with SAAFEND ROCKET with Blueberry Ice, Good Old Days and High Ball amongst more conventional options. Market support for the selection would be encouraging as he makes his return to action sporting a tongue tie for the first time on debut for this yard. He had lost his way but is well handicapped as a result if he retains his ability. Himba has now won twice over fences but the efforts in between left something to be desired so may be one to take on under a penalty back on quicker ground. Blueberry Ice has run well here in the past and is another to monitor for signs of support but High Ball has stronger claims having run encouragingly on just his second start over fences on his latest outing. Good Old Days made a pleasing return to action after a winter break and enters calculations on that form but we'll hope that the market speaks in favour of our fancy, Saafend Rocket.
