In depth

Verdict

The Geegeez Geegee won twice last season but it’s more than a year since he last saw a racecourse and Aidan Coleman prefers stablemate WOOD PIGEON (NAP), who also returns from a lay-off but wasn’t beaten far over track and trip in March when 2lb higher and was a winner earlier over these fences. Prolific winning pointer Mr Raj won hunter chases at Taunton and Sedgefield in the spring and was a fair fourth on his handicap debut at Plumpton. Shady Glen is starting to look well treated and Native Robin could also go well and is preferred to Zen Master and Tara Mac at the weights.
