In depth

Verdict

Following a decent debut effort at Uttoxeter, LASTROSEOFSUMMER overcame all kinds of problems to get off the mark at Musselburgh next time. Matt Crawley, who performed minor miracles to stay in the saddle that day, keeps the ride on Rae Guest's mare who isn't overburdened in her first handicap. Little Carmela's Leicester win hasn't been franked, while Prince Massini has rocketed up the weights since scoring at Uttoxeter and Chepstow. Along Came Rosie has more to do than when winning a maiden hurdle at Newcastle, but Phare Isle could go well dropped in grade as he'll see out this trip with few problems.
