In depth

Verdict

GENERAL MARSHALL has been a beaten odds-on favourite for his last two starts and is looking exposed but he ran very well behind Lola Beaux at Dundalk and the winner finished runner-up in a Group 3 over the weekend so that form should be good enough for this. Romiac was behind him at the Curragh so looks held and the main threats could arrive from newcomers. Dermot Weld's Tango Alpha is out of a juvenile winner in Canada so should have enough pace while Ger Lyons' Buenos Y Bobos is related to several winners, a couple of them two-year-olds.
