Verdict

The Green Lady put daylight between herself and the consistent Faraway Space in a mares' maiden at Punchestown on Wednesday and will be ideally suited by the testing conditions. A 6lb penalty shouldn't prevent another big run but the concession of so much weight to INDY ISLAND (NAP) may prove beyond her. Stuart Crawford's winning point-to-pointer wouldn't have been suited by the minimum trip at Down Royal but her stamina came into play and today's distance looks ideal. Swift beat a big field in a Navan handicap but didn't appear to handle the heavy ground at Down Royal ten days later and conditions will be testing today. Court Challenge won't mind the ground and is best over this trip while Golden Flowerpower is a real mudlark and didn't enjoy quick going when last seen in October.
