In depth

Verdict

Troll D'Oudairies is making his handicap debut over timber with a big weight and hasn't run since May. Father Jack has been making gradual progress and there looked more to come when he scored over 2m4f here a fortnight ago. Pint Of Porter had shown absolutely nothing before his shock victory over a big field in a Navan handicap where he made almost every yard. DAZZLERS DAY is perfectly capable of winning this despite running a shocker over fences at Galway. He won here last December and over fences at Limerick in March and looks well enough handicapped to go in again. Easy Vic has been very unfortunate not to lose his long-standing maiden tag as he was disqualified after finishing first past the post at Limerick in May then beaten a short-head at Downpatrick in July. He looks to have a decent opportunity here and is a major threat.
