A lucrative prize has attracted a very strong field with Willie Mullins having seven runners and Gordon Elliott four. Farout, who has been racing at a very high level, is the pick of Paul Townend though Danny Mullins gets the ride on Tax For Max, who was only two lengths behind him at Galway last July. Heia, the mount of Brian Hayes, looked one to follow when landing a maiden here but couldn't go the pace in the Grade 2 Mares' Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham. La Prima Donna has yet to win but it shouldn't be long as she was travelling easily when falling two out at Limerick. Eskylane carries top weight for Elliott and he was impressive when last seen at Down Royal in October though the stable's lightly-raced GLAN is just the type for this and looks on a very fair mark. Beaten just a neck in a Grade A handicap here in November, she didn't quite get home in the Paddy Mullins' Mares' Handicap at Leopardstown and today's likely quicker going and shorter trip will be in her favour.
