In depth

Verdict

Swansea Mile has been a bit unfortunate not to have won but once again could find one too good in the shape of SNOW FALCON. Noel Meade's charge attracted good support on his debut in a very strong bumper at the Punchestown Festival in April and found only Willie Mullins' Very Much So just too strong. Compensation awaits here. Rock N Rhythm wasn't far behind Swansea Mile at Navan last month but will need to find extra while Ange D'Or Javilex looked sure to reward those who had backed him into favouritism at Listowel when he travelled easily but he just couldn't find a finishing burst and had to settle for third. Red Jacket also occupied the same spot at Cork though he was beaten a long way.
