Verdict

Vedettariat has a big weight to carry on his handicap debut and hat-trick attempt and Ruby Walsh deserts him for Pleasant Company, who is having his first start for Willie Mullins after transferring from David Pipe. He hasn't shown much in three starts over timber but could be very well in on his handicap debut. Aengus overcame some sticky jumping to land a Naas maiden and though progressing nicely he'll need to do much better here. Oscar Knight's victory at Punchestown was enhanced when the runner-up beat Golden Boot at Gowran so Tom Mullins' charge has to be respected but it's CAPTAIN VON TRAPPE who looks the best handicapped in the race. He also beat Golden Boot last time where he looked ideally suited by the trip and soft ground and Bryan Cooper can steer him home. All Hell Let Loose has some strong form in decent company and with David Mullins' claim to help he can repay each-way support in a tough event.
