Verdict

This is very much complicated by the presence of WILDCAT KITTEN, who would have been a short price in a handicap at Gowran last night following his defeat when backed off the boards at Navan. It's quite possible he'll compete in both events and on such a lowly mark could quite easily do the double. Panama Hat has made great strides since tackling this trip and made all at Leopardstown, though a 10lb rise makes this more difficult. Port Merrion has been running well enough since making his handicap debut and looks as though this longer trip will suit. Sar Oiche is related to numerous winners, mostly over middle-distances, and Jim Bolger's lightly-raced filly has to be of interest on her handicap debut but Mystic Princess has never faced ground this quick and didn't run very well on good going at Listowel.
