Time And Times showed nothing before indicating there was better to come at Down Royal and he duly obliged at Cork a few days later. He's up 7lb but is progressing fast and has to be respected. Usurp makes his handicap debut and hasn't done quite as well as expected after winning on good ground here in October but Bilbo Bagins came good on heavy going at Navan last time. He was earlier a long way behind NICOLE'S MILAN over this track and trip and though the winner has subsequently disappointed at Navan a return to this course can see him back in the winner's enclosure. Rock On Barney has yet to win but is very consistent and is likely to be fighting for a place on the podium in the latter stages.
