Verdict

This invariably produces a high-class winner as it did last year with Envoi Allen. Gordon Elliott runs four this year and though Favori De Champdou has improved between the flags, Jamie Codd's presence on the newcomer Ragnar Lodbrok suggests the son of Fame And Glory could be the pick of the quartet. No Grey Area's was headed right on the line at Thurles while Gabbys Cross looked a nice prospect when scoring at Monksgrave and went for €170,000 at the sales. All eyes here will be on FERNY HOLLOW, who sauntered home in a 2m4f point at Knockanard in February then went for a massive £300,000 at the Sales. His dam is from the family of Morley Street and Granville Again so he should have enough pace for this.
