Verdict

Sin Miedo, who won a maiden at Gowran in November, was outclassed in a Grade 3 here last time and this is more his class. He should go well off this mark without beating HOP IN, who certainly deserved his victory at Navan after a string of seconds and the assessor has been lenient with just a 4lb rise. Bendanella won a Wexford maiden in October and was by no means disgraced when taking a leap in class on his handicap debut at Punchestown. The veteran Marshim doesn't win often enough and is still 3lb higher than his last winning mark.
