In depth

Verdict

Dusky Lark has been found wanting when stepped up to 3m in the past, though his run behind Siruh Du Lac here in December has worked out well. Stamp Your Feet looked beaten when brought down at Ludlow but Quarenta recorded a second win over fences at Warwick last month and Fortunate George could be interesting back over the larger obstacles as he’s rated 7lb higher over hurdles. GARRANE is still seeking a first win over fences but he’s placed twice around here and was only beaten a couple of lengths by Glen Forsa at Chepstow in November when well ahead of Quarenta. Duel At Dawn and For Good Measure have disappointed this season but would also have a chance on their best form with Carlisle third Coningsby probably best of the rest.
