Verdict

Karakoram’s effort at Chepstow last month was a rare poor run but he may have had enough for the season. Farceur De Maulne finished fourth over a shorter trip at this meeting last year but, after beating Justshortofabubble out of sight at Ffos Las, ROGER RAREBIT came up against an improver at Southwell and has his welter burden here reduced by a 10lb claimer. Getupearly has gone backwards since a second at Hereford in February but last month’s Ffos Las winner Puddlesinthepark is respected.
