In depth

Verdict

Kings Apollo has been enjoying himself at this level. He's been put up another 7lb after scoring over 3m at Towcester last time but there is no reason why he won't go close again. Bedouin Bay was a long way ahead of Railway Vic over a shorter trip here last time and should confirm the form but Amaury De Lusignan's good runs have been few and far between lately. CUCKOO ROCK was only receiving 3lb when beating Admirable Duque on the Flat at Goodwood in October. He is 17lb better off in this and thrown in if Jonny Portman can persuade him to translate his form on the level to hurdling- he gets the nod.
