A decent staying chase with the weights headed by the 133 rated Satshoon. At his best going right handed, Paul Nicholls' charge is gradually creeping up the in the handicap and it will be a surprise if there isn't something to beat him on these terms. Pipe and McCoy are represented by Imperial De Thaix, who meets Satshoon on 7lb better terms for a five length beating here last month and there should be little between them here. Eau De Cologne is another who is closely matched with Satshoon, and this multiple winner cannot be left out of calculations. Desailly can be expected to have improved for his seasonal debut at Newbury, while the former high class hurdler Mr Markham, is another who would have a chance if putting his best foot forward. However, the vote goes to Le Cabro D'Or, who made a winning comeback at Carlisle last month. John Upson's bold front-runner is relatively unexposed over fences, having only run seven times to date.
