Verdict

NEMETAN looks to be fairly straight-forward and having gone well for this jockey before, it is he who gets the vote ahead of Burgess Hill and the consistent Bollitree Bob. With a compliment of 19 runners, this doesn't look the easiest 'getting out stakes' you're likely to see. However Sally Alner's gelding comes here on the back of a good win at the track. That was over fences but he could be nicely handicapped back over hurdles off this mark of 98 and granted a strong pace he shouldn't be far away. Lupita, Serengetti Sunset and Langkawi Beach all come here on the back of recent placed efforts, however a bigger danger could be Burgess Hill who represents an up-and-coming yard and the gelding ran on well last time when successful at Plumpton. Deep Pockets and Bollitree Bob, who was so consistent when seen about 500 days ago, must be added to any shortlist, however it is Nemetan who gets the vote in the finale.
