Verdict

Cociembe gets the vote here ahead of Ranelagh Gray and Ultimate Limit. Cociembe did not have much in reserve when scoring at this track last time but, despite his penalty, the shorter trip should aid his chances today and he can go well. Ranelagh Gray has won off today's mark over hurdles and is respected, and Ultimate Limit showed enough at Huntingdon in May to suggest that he can improve over fences this time around, although lack of a recent run is a concern. Finally, first-time blinkers will need to sharpen up Mick Devine based on recent efforts which, in turn, returns us to the selection, which is Cociembe.
