Verdict

Fourovakind is an improving stayer and on a hat-trick after outstaying Radmores Revenge at Chepstow last month. Highland Retreat got back to winning ways at Taunton in February and won over course and distance on her debut last year while Count Guido Deiro promises to be suited by the step up to 3m for the first time under Rules after scoring over 2m5f at Towcester. THEDEBOFTHEYEAR is a couple of pounds out of the handicap but has been knocking on the door of late and won off a much higher mark at Taunton a year ago. Chris Down's mare shouldn't be far away and gets a tentative vote, though Winds And Waves won at Huntingdon and Market Rasen before finishing third at Sandown and can't be ignored.
