In depth

Verdict

Phillip Hobbs can complete a double with Ashgar. A useful hurdler, he stays this trip well and should have to much class for his rivals. Winner of a poor novice chase Another Copper, has more to do in this class, while Dear Deal has plenty of experience over fences and should give a good account. Lord Rochester was the best of these over hurdles, but he may just need this outing. Lucky Bay, has the size and scope to make a chaser, but may have to wait for another day.
