In depth

Verdict

There Is No Doubt landed a huge gamble when making a winning debut here over 1m5f in December and showed that was no fluke when following up over a furlong extra at Towcester later that month; he is taken to complete a hat trick at the main expense of Mister Quasimodo and Celtic Jem. There are several interesting newcomers in the field including Jim Old's Brodick Castle, who represents a stable that knows how to produce one to win first time out in this grade, Henry Daly's pair Haunted House and Principe Azzurro plus, probably the pick of the debutants, Celtic Jem. Peter Bowen has his string in really good form right now so the son of Norwich has to be respected. She's Our Daisy has more to do than when winning at Taunton last month and of more interest may be Colin Tizzard's Chepstow winner Mister Quasimodo, who was not disgraced in the mud at Warwick last time. There Is No Doubt has done little wrong though and he gets the vote to complete a hat trick.
