Verdict

CURTAIN RAZER, a half-brother to Irish National winner Hear The Echo as well as useful staying hurdler Melford, has already won twice between the flags in Ireland. He looks a decent prospect for Paul Nicholls and should open his account under Rules at the first time of asking. Gullinbursti won a Cork bumper in March and should make his mark over timber while Oscar Davy was still in front when coming to grief at the last at Carlisle and it seems only a matter of time before he lands a novices' hurdle. Cosway Spirit was fourth in a bumper here in April and looks best of the rest as the penalised Arctic Watch only won a Newton Abbot seller last time.
