Verdict

Ski Sunday won over hurdles at Kempton in January on his return from a break. It may be he is best caught fresh and, providing his jumping holds up, has to go on the short-list here. But preference is for four-year-old CURRENT EVENT, who has a big weight allowance and should be a lot sharper for a spin over hurdles at Chepstow. George Nympton ultimately proved disappointing over hurdles but there's a chance a switch to fences will rekindle his enthusiasm and he's preferred to ex-pointer Webberys Dream of the others.
