Verdict

Flying Verse recorded three victories last year, all on good going, but an absence since November is a bit off-putting. Hard To Forget and Cracker Jak are both recent winners while Rosemary Russet is back on the same mark as when just beaten at Taunton in November. HALLOWEEN HARRY was upsides eventual winner Eur Gone West when unseating his rider three out here last month. That form has been franked and Philip Hobbs’ novice can gain compensation today with a clear round. Crossley Tender could also go well from near the foot of the handicap.
