Verdict

Angus Glens, who possibly found 2m4f too far at Aintree in June, is probably capable of making a race of it with ABIDJAN but Sam Twiston-Davies' mount can complete a quick double for trainer and jockey. The latter took a while to get the hang of jumping hurdles but won by 19 lengths at Newton Abbot in April and should be capable of holding his own in better company eventually. Flat winner Silver Dixie hinted at ability when fourth to regulation at Warwick last month and will be hard to keep out of the frame with a clear round.
