In depth

Verdict

Another less than competitive event in which the disappointing Look To The Future appears to have his best chance to date, to lose his maiden tag over hurdles. He has done most of his racing when there has been plenty of give underfoot, so this faster surface is something of an unknown, but he does have the best form on offer and is worth one last chance. Best of the rest could be the first-time blinkered Another Diamond, who would certainly have a squeak on her third to Madam Flora, over this trip last month. She attracted plenty of support that day, but her overall profile leaves her with a bit to find with the selection. It may be worth keeping an eye on the locally trained newcomer Pauls Legacy, along with Roman Court, who is out of a mare that won a staying maiden hurdle in Ireland.
