In depth

Verdict

Tolkeins Tango is a bit of a course specialist but needs to step up on his two runs this season. Renard is very well treated on his old form but hasn't won since 2013. Bears Rails is a stayer so may find this an insufficient test of stamina but the consistent Ballydague Lady shouldn't be far away again and looks better treated than Kings Cross. The form of the THE MUMPER's victory at Market Rasen hasn't been franked but he looks to be on an upward curve and the handicapper probably hasn’t got to him yet. Alan King's nine-year-old is fancied to go in again.
