In depth

Verdict

Not a bad contest for a seller with American Cricket heading the weights back over hurdles having won over fences at Fakenham and then finished third at Wincanton. Mangonel was a little more like her old self when third over C&D last month while My Viking Bay has been knocking on the door, though John O'Shea's mare remains a maiden after 18 starts under Rules. GRAND LAHOU hasn't run since last September but was taking on much stronger opposition when last seen and Richard Johnson is reunited with the gelding for his reappearance. He may just outclass these.
