Bennys Mist was only beaten half-a-length at Chepstow in March and is edging closer to that elusive first win. He's a couple of pounds higher here but still preferred to stablemate Sawpit Samba, who now sports blinkers after being pulled up at Huntingdon last month. Lonesome Boatman often makes the frame but struggles to get his head in front while Killing Me Softly returns from a break and Solaise Express has been well beaten in all four starts over timber. HOBB'S DREAM is back in action only four days after running over fences at Plumpton but she has a good strike rate on heavy going and Neil Mulholland's mare may well be good enough to score here.
