NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

The form figures of An Poc Ar Buile reveal an inconsistent profile but he's certainly one for the shortlist if on a going day, especially as he scored over course and distance last March. He was left on an unchanged mark on the back of a solid runner-up effort when last seen in May but there may be a question mark about his readiness for action. Tiquer defied an absence himself of nearly 11 months when scoring comfortably enough at Uttoxeter and has obvious claims if not 'bouncing.' Extremely lightly-raced in recent years, the ability is clearly still there. Jaboltiski is unexposed over fences, where leading connections obviously see his future, so he must be taken seriously but the more experienced ZANSTRA is the choice. His runner-up effort behind Mumgos Debut on his second start was a promising run and he was still going perfectly well when coming to grief late on at Chepstow last time. He's worth another chance.
