In depth

Verdict

Fairly modest fare for what will seem a marathon trip. Roky Star is proven in the mud and his previous trainer was talking of him as being a probable three-miler last year. He will have to be at his best to score with top-weight. Dun An Doras was second here at a price of 50/1 in December. He won't be that here although he still has a couple of questions to answer about going and distance. Peter's Two Fun represents the Pipe team and he is sure to be popular in this grade. He looked an exciting prospect during the summer but even the Nicholshayne maestro looks to have had severe problems with him. Barton Nic is given as our selection for this contest. The ten-year-old posted a win over three miles on Soft ground at Uttoxeter in December and showed enough battling qualities to suggest that he'd be good enough to follow up. The market will serve as the best guide to the chances of Nameless Wonder.
