In depth

Verdict

Stringybark Creek carries 6lb extra after completing a double with a victory at Beverley during the week and Central City will find this tougher having won a claimer and upped 6lb for scoring at Doncaster last time. Duke Of North recorded a course and distance double back in July but Face Like Thunder could only manage third at Ffos Las having won at Thirsk earlier. NIGHTINGALE VALLEY has yet to race over today’s trip but was narrowly beaten over 7f here last time and a chance is taken Stuart Kittow’s mare sees out the mile.
