MISSION APPROVED (NAP) really does deserve to get his head in front this term after a series of commendable efforts, highlighted by his latest run when only going down in a photo to Barnet Fair in the 32Red Cup consolation contest at Glorious Goodwood. Despite the lack of a victory this term, he's inevitably been hit with a rise by the assessor but anything like a repeat of that latest performance will see him go close. Duke Cosimo, one of many strong northern representatives, landed the Great St Wilfrid consolation race at Ripon last time in a desperate finish and David Barron has to be respected when journeying south. He should remain competitive off this 3lb higher mark. Salvatore Fury, solid and consistent, looks one to note off a workable mark too, whilst Richard Fahey's Arctic Feeling and Dean Ivory's Links Drive Lady are also respected in a typically open Epsom sprint.
