In depth

Formwatch

Hilltop Warning Has paid the price for handicap wins at both Yarmouth and Goodwood; not disgraced in simialr company latest but looks a shade high in weights.

Electrum (IRE) Ex-Irish 5f winner and in good form of late for Spanish connections but has something to prove on first start in Britain.

Aretino (IRE) Consistent type who is closely matched with Full Spate on recent Folkestone form; should go well.

Alpen Wolf (IRE) Well treated on last year's form but recent best has been over shorter trips.

Whale Beach (USA) Rather inconsistent type but ran well over C&D in June and just 1lb higher; chances.

Glenrock On a long losing sequence and needs to come down in weights to pose a serious threat.

Love's Design (IRE) Improved over winter to win four on the all-weather and successful at brighton this summer but now 5lb higher.

Love You Too In good form and just 4lb higher for latest handicap success at Salisbury but all wins have come over six furlongs.

Becky Simmons Lightly raced but well beaten off 2lb higher mark at Sandown two months ago and has not been out since.

White Emir In good form of late and has conditions in his favour although possibly flattered latest (winner won with more in hand than margin suggests) and now 3lb higher.

Young Alex (IRE) Has an each way chance on recent efforts but looks weighted up to very best at present.

Full Spate Winner over 6f in June (now 4lb higher) and back to form over 7f latest; stable in terrific form and this fellow must go well with conditions to suit.

Cupids Charm Dropping down the weights but has basically been disappointing of late.

Mister Rambo Very well treated on best form but has had leg problems and not the easiest to predict; may require more give.

Mutabassir (IRE) Brighton specialist but also boasts win over C&D although this looks tougher.
