In depth

Verdict

A couple of these won their penultimate outings and Gosnay Gold remains 6lb higher than when scoring at Chepstow earlier having failed to see out the mile trip last time. But VENTURA VISION won a higher grade contest at Chelmsford and having placed back at the same track subsequently, Mark Johnson’s filly may edge affairs. Mellys Flyer can do better returning to today’s trip but Split Elevens has yet to race over this far having won over 6f on the all-weather.
