      Verdict

Avertis and Elspeth's Boy have claims on their best form of last year, but both are making their seasonal debuts here. Rondeau looks high enough in the weights now after scoring on the Polytrack in April, but Leadenhall Lass and Fivefold have place claims. REE'S RASCAL is 10lb higher than his latest win at Windsor in April, but he went close at the same track on his latest start and it shouldn't be long before he's winning off his current mark. Jim Boyle's charge gets the vote.
