        Verdict

        Freddy With A Y is running well but has a lot of weight for a three-year-old and has yet to run on ground this fast. Baldemar has won six races but connections will be unhappy with a 2lb rise in the weights for finishing runner-up at Thirsk so it's LANGLEY VALE who is handed the vote. He's won three of his last five starts, all over this trip, and his front-running style is ideally suited to this track. None of the remainder can be overlooked in a tight handicap with Aye Aye Digby, who has the beating of Where's Reiley on recent Goodwood form, taken to come out best of them.
