In depth

Verdict

Smarter Charter is nothing if not consistent and gets on very well with Kirsten Stubbs. He has been in sterling form so far this season and the 6lb higher mark than when winning at Leicester last month may not be enough to stop him here. Woodyates has also impressed in her recent outings and will not need to find too much improvement to figure strongly here. Achilles Spirit and Western Ridge looks to be the best of the rest.
