In depth

Verdict

Magic Dream might just be able to bring up the hat-trick but watch out for Great View, the lightly raced Individual Talents, Raybaan, Tasneef, and track-tested Pay The Silver and Katiypour. The selection won a seller at Brighton before then scrambling home in a handicap at the same track. Admittedly, we are not talking world-beater here but she comes here in good heart and might be worth chancing. David Nicholls' lightly raced Sterling Guarantee throws a fly in the ointment of analysis. He ran his best race to date when stepped up to this trip for the first time last time out and we'll learn about the five-year-old today. Course winners Pay The Silver and Katiypour are others who must surely go well in what is not a strong race but we'll side, tentatively, with Magic Charm.
