    Verdict

Home Affairs is the pick ahead of Zero Tolerance, with Mulaqat and Momtic worth a mention. Sir Michael Stoute is more than hopeful that Home Affairs will develop into a top miler this season, and has been patient with the four-year-old son of Dansili who has only had nine career outings to date. He was highly tried last term though, finishing third in the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot and fourth in a Group 1 at Chantille despite the bit coming out of his mouth early on. He proved too good for Momtic on his return in Listed company at Windsor, and should definitely have that one's measure again. A bigger danger should be Zero Tolerance who blazed his way to victory at York last time, and as long as the ground does not dry out too much he can make a bold bid to land his first ever Group race. Mulaqat boosted the Craven form when landing a Listed event at Newmarket and gets the three-year-old allowance so could prove troublesome as well. Not enough though to stop Home Affairs from following up.
