Joe Fanning rides Aquarium for Mark Johnston but though his mount has won on the course he's never raced over a trip this far. Stable companion Fire Fighting has also won here and over the trip and is only 1lb higher than his last victory but he was a long way behind SOTO SIZZLER when the latter beat Chester winner Eddystone Rock impressively over the track and trip in April. William Knight's charge looks to have got off lightly with a 5lb rise and a track double looks on the cards. Sextant is a very progressive four-year-old from the Stoute camp who reappeared after a long break with a very impressive victory at Ascot and even an 8lb rise is unlikely to prevent another big run. Breath Caught returns after a break and runs for new connections after being purchased for 200,000gns.
