ANJALAWI and Queens Carriage are both rated in the mid-80's which would normally be good enough for a maiden here. The former was conceding 28lb when beaten just over a length in a nursery here last week while the latter defied a 66/1 SP with a cracking run behind Frenetic in Listed race here earlier this month. Both are drawn on the outside which won't help though Ger Lyons' filly just gets the nod. Montego Bay could also have been better berthed for her debut but the €250,000 daughter of No Nay Never will know her job, a remark that also applies to Baldomero, whose connections had to go to £460,000 to get him from the Arqana Breeze-Up at Deauville in July.
