Chestnut Fire is 7lb higher than his victory here in November but has been running very consistently on Turf. His in-form yard also run Rezeki, a maiden winner here a year ago who was having only his fourth start when running very well on the track a fortnight ago. THE MOUSE DOCTOR gets the nod as he won a maiden over the track and trip in February and continued to run well until finding 1m1f too far in his last two starts in June. He was around eight lengths in front of A Shin Impala when scoring at Killarney in May but the latter is better on this surface and was having his first start for five months when running well here last week. Excelli won three times over the course and distance last winter but shot up the weights as a consequence, though he did run very well at the Curragh in August. Mr Ormsby won over the trip at Killarney in July and has had excuses for later defeats so is one to consider while Fairy Foxglove would have a chance if getting a run from her first reserve spot.
